We believe that meaningful participation, strategic research and socially driven design are interrelated and that the best results are achieved when these three elements combine, having fun is a serious part of our process.Through collaboration, storytelling and a unique understanding of context Pidgin Perfect deliver socially rich outcomes. From installing a temporary cinema on the banks of the River Clyde; to developing visual briefs for key public sector projects; designing an outdoor theatrical banquet in Venice; or landscaping public green spaces in Glasgow and delivering permanent public realm works with internationally renowned artists; Pidgin Perfect create architecture that truly allows for engaging experiences, building lasting relationships and bringing communities together.


Pidgin Perfect is led by Dele Adeyemo, Marc Cairns, and Becca Thomas

Dele Adeyemo, Director
Dele has a fascination for people and city’s rich varying cultures, a perspective that has always informed his ideas. He is experienced in facilitation, project management and design, and has a detailed understanding of nurturing research and international projects into reality.

Marc Cairns, Director
Marc has developed a keen curiosity and appreciation for architecture and how people engage with the public realm. He leads on large scale public art and cultural projects alongside community engagement and participation programmes across Scotland.

Becca Thomas, Director
Becca has an intent interest in community and place making which is demonstrated through a strong portfolio of projects across research, participation and design. She is experienced with creative and digital engagement tools as well as developing public realm design projects.

Duncan Bain, Project Coordinator
Duncan has an appreciation for the concepts of open source and open data which has led to a keen interest in participative and accessible design projects. He is skilled at facilitating collaborative programmes involving architects, communities and wider society.

Anna Raymond, Project Assistant
Anna is passionate about exploring the relationships between people and their built environment. She has a particular interest in access and has significant experience in participatory processes, community engagement and design.

Jassy Earl, Studio Coordinator
Jassy is a versatile individual who relishes a challenge, she combines her passion for the arts with looking at the world through a lens. Her organisation, dedication and talent for facilitation are employed to their fullest within the studio.


Forward Thinking and Future Strategy
Pidgin Perfect's research includes working with a range of experts across design and social sciences to define best practice and suggest policy and frameworks. Bringing together key stakeholders to develop and implement integrated strategies and initiatives at various scales. As well as working with clients and communities to define their aims and translate them into clear design principles and values to help build better communities.

Bringing People Together
Pidgin Perfect work to consult the community and the public to inform and gather opinions on future projects. We actively involve people in the process of design through creative engagement methods, and design innovative events that bring people together and celebrate stakeholders, communities and people.

Building Better Communities
Pidgin Perfect employ our research and participation with a passion for designing spaces that meaningfully connect people to places, integrating heritage, culture and customs. Creating successful and sophisticated relationships with space through the use of craft, materials, technology and colour.
